About Superior Kitchens & Cabinets

“We are a flexible, locally owned business delivering high-quality kitchen design, renovations, and custom cabinetry throughout the Great Southern region.”

Our Story

Superior Kitchens & Cabinets is proudly owned by Jake Maring, who brings over 40 years of experience to the cabinet-making industry. Jake began his career at the tender age of 15, working alongside his father, Jack Maring, at Ringma Cabinets in Armadale.

Having long loved the Albany region through family holidays and earlier work opportunities, Jake and his family made Albany home in 2003. Today, together with his wife Marian, their six children, two daughter’s in-law, and nine grandchildren, they remain deeply connected to the local community.

In 2013, Jake purchased the business, which was then operating as HK Cabinets. In 2016, we evolved the name to Superior Kitchens – Great Southern, before adopting the current name ‘Superior Kitchens & Cabinets‘ in 2020—a reflection of our vision for the future and our commitment to delivering comprehensive cabinetry solutions while continuing to uphold the reputation for quality that the business has built over many years.

“Our goal is to provide a complete kitchen solution.”

A Family Business

We are a genuine family business built on strong family values. Jake & Marian’s eldest son, Brendan, leads our installation team as Installation Foreman, while their second son, Darren, joined the team in 2020, continuing the family’s tradition of craftsmanship, integrity, and personalised service.  Jake & Marian’s second daughter, Olivia, joined the business in 2026 and works at the front desk, coordinating jobs and helping our customers with any questions they might have.

Our commitment to family extends beyond our own team and into the relationships we build with our clients, suppliers, and local community.

Our Commitment to Quality

“We focus on quality products, exceptional service, and embracing innovation.”

Using advanced design and manufacturing technology, we maintain complete control over every stage of the process—from concept and design through to manufacture and installation. We also partner with trusted suppliers and leading brands to ensure every kitchen is built to the highest standards.

Our mission is simple: to create beautifully designed, expertly crafted kitchens and cabinetry that reflect each client’s lifestyle, personality, and vision. Whether you come to us with your own plans or need guidance from our design team, we’re here to help turn your ideas into reality.

“An idea. A vision. A dream.”

At Superior Kitchens & Cabinets, we believe there are no limits—only solutions.
